The pandemic did not thwart our plans and the Autumn Edition of this year’s Visegrad Literary Residency Program is implemented according to its usual schedule. So, since the beginning of September, Villa Decius have the pleasure to host four artists: Viktoria Kellerman (Hungary), Marta Madejska (Poland), Ladislav Lipcsei (Slovakia) and Alena Zemančíkova (Czech Republic).
We are pleased to announce that Villa Decius has become the first place of refuge in Poland under the Artist Protection Fund, an American network managed by The Institute of International Education. Due to the pandemic and closure of the borders between the V4 countries, the Spring Edition of this year’s Visegrad Literary Residences has been postponed to the middle of summer. From 15 July we have the pleasure to host four writers at Villa Decius: Pavel Klusák (Czech Republic), Mónika Rusvai (Hungary), Krzysztof Umiński (Poland) and Marcel Lacko (Slovakia).
On 18 June 2020 in Villa Decius there was a General Meeting of VDA Members, which approved the substantive reports and financial statements for the financial year, i.e. 01.04.2019-31.03.2020 and elected a new members of both the Association’s Board and Audit Committee.
(POL) W maju 2020 r. rozpoczął się projekt o nazwie: „Międzysektorowe wyzwania: specjalista ds. ochrony dóbr kultury na wypadek sytuacji kryzysowej i wojny – opracowanie programu studiów podyplomowych, dedykowanych pracownikom działającym na pograniczu dziedzin.”, w którym Stowarzyszenie Willa Decjusza jest liderem. Projekt finansowany jest w ramach Programu Edukacja, z Międzynarodowego Funduszu Europejskiego Obszaru Gospodarczego (EOG) przypadającego na lata 2014-2022.
(POL) Przewodnikiem będzie Wojciech Zabielski, który dwa razy w tygodniu opowiadać będzie o historii, zabytkach i tajemnicach Krakowa. Pierwsze spotkanie zatytułowane TEATRY i KABARETY odbędzie się w najbliższą środę, 27 maja o godz. 9.30. Kolejne spotkania w poniedziałki o godz. 10.00 i w środy o godz. 9.30.
