Patronage and sponsoring play an important role in financing many prestigious programmes developed by Villa Decius Association.

BP Europa SE, Polish branch in Krakow has been supporting the activities of the Villa Decius Association since 1996. In recent years, the company has supported the realisation the “Visegrad Summer School” and the following editions of the Sergio Vieira de Mello Award, as well as the project “Sunday at Decius”, a family picnic for the residents of Krakow. Moreover, the representatives of BP (the president Jerzy Brniak and manager Dorota Adamska) took part in the meetings  on the corporate responsibility in business, which took place during the “Visegrad Summer School”, and were the members of the jury of the Sergio Vieira de Mello Award. In addition to that, several prestigious corporate meetings of BP were organised in Villa Decius.

In 2011 BP Europa SE is continuing its cooperation with The Villa Decius Association within the scope of previously supported programmes: the “Visegrad Summer School”, the Sergio Vieira de Mello Award, the “Sunday at Decius”, the “Heritage of Chopin”, “The Renaissance Heritage of Malopolska” and the Villa Decius Anniversary.

Siemens Sp. z o.o. has been supporting Villa Decius's activities since 1997. From 2003, the company has significantly increased its participation in realisation of the Association's programmes. It is worth noting that the experts from Siemens took an active part in all these projects, among them Mr. Karol Szyndzielorz, the Advisor to the President of the Siemens Group in Poland, and the Director, Ewa Mikos, in particular.

In 2011 Siemens is going to continue the cooperation with The Villa Decius Association within its educational and culture promoting projects, such as: the “Visegrad Summer School”, the “Heritage of Chopin”, “The Renaissance Heritage of Malopolska” and the Villa Decius Anniversary.

Ars Modi s.c. supports conference projects of Villa Decius, providing the gastronomic services of the highest quality. In 2011 the restaurant in Villa Decius will support the organization of such events as “Laurels for the Patron”, the “Visegrad Summer School”, or the Polish-British Round Table Debates.

In 2008 we welcomed PZU Group among the Sponsors of Villa Decius, the support of which enabled the organization of the most important, strategic projects, such as: the “Visegrad Summer School”, the “Homines Urbani”, the Sergio Vieira de Mello Award, the “European Club”, the “Sunday at Decius”, the “Ecological Town”, the “Music on the European Courts”, the “Heritage of Chopin” as well as the publication from the conference “Captive Mind – revisited”. In January of 2009 PZU Życie S.A. was honoured with the Decius statuette, the highest honourable award given to the  Villa Decius Patrons. In 2011, thanks to the PZU’s support, Villa Decius will carry out the following projects: the Sergio Vieira de Mello Award, “The Renaissance Heritage of Malopolska” and the Villa Decius Anniversary.

John Paul II International Airport Krakow-Balice Sp. z o.o. In 2011, the Association has started its cooperation with the International Airport Krakow-Balice. The cooperation includes three projects: the “Visegrad Summer School”, the Sergio Vieira de Mello Award and the Villa Decius Anniversary.

2011 Sponsors

Enion SA. This year, for the first time, the Association has initiated the cooperation with Enion SA at realization of “The Renaissance Heritage of Malopolska” programme. Within the programme’s framework, children of the company’s employees will be invited for cultural classes taking place in Villa Decius.

ANWA Toyota. The cooperation between the company and Villa Decius has lasted for several years now, but this year, ANWA increased its engagement supporting the “Sunday at Decius”, “International Literature Festival” and the Villa Decius Anniversary.
