The conservation programme of Villa Decius comprises the preservation of the historic character of the building complex and the construction of gardens around the Villa.
The programme aims at furnishing the interiors of the buildings with stylish or historic furniture, paintings and tapestries.
In 2002, as part of the conservation programme, the first stage of the reconstruction of the Gothic garden situated beyond the Łaski House began. Marcin Gajda's garden art studio "Archikrak" that sponsored the reconstruction conducted the work. The conservation of the gate in the rose garden was also completed. The conservation work was financially supported by the Społeczny Komitet Odnowy Zabytków Krakowa SKOZK (Public Committee for the Renovation of Krakow Monuments).
In 2003, the conservation programme at Villa Decius comprised the repair of the terrace and the installation of new insulation. The conservation work was also financed by SKOZK.
n 2004, the conservation treatment included interior repainting of the palace as well as of the Łaski House. In 2005 work was carried out to restore the parquet floors at Villa Decius. This year the conservation programme focuses on the complete repainting of the interior spaces and the installation of the main entrance gate on 28 Lipca 1943 St. Above all, the conservation programme includes the repair and preservation of stonework, carpentry as well as the maintenance of the Villa Decius gardens.
