1% of the tax for the Villa Decius Association

[2010-02-22] The mission of the association is to support and develop artistic and literary work, international cultural and intellectual cooperation and to realise educational programmes for children and adolescents. The basis of all programmes is the idea to bring together representatives of different scientific and cultural disciplines, nationalities and areas of interests, the idea to exchange thoughts and to promote pluralism and tolerance in the public sphere.     

Who can transfer 1% of the tax to organisations?
- tax payers to whom the income tax for natural persons applies 
- tax payers to whom the lump sum on registered revenues applies
- tax payers performing a one-person economic activity to whom the linear tax rate of 19 % applies

How can 1% of the tax be transferred to a non-profit organisation?
1. Choose the organisation to whom you wish to transfer  1% of the tax, such as “Stowarzyszenie Willa Decjusza” (Villa Decius Association). KRS: 0000059074 (national court register number).

2. Fill in the corresponding category in the annual tax declaration. Fill in the value you would like to transfer to the non-profit organisation. The sum may not exceed one percent of the related tax . You need to agree on the processing of your personal data. 

The tax payer can give additional information (i.e. a certain purpose) that can have an influence on how the non-profit organisation makes use of the transferred money. This information will be passed on to the organisation as a specification of the given sum.

3. The tax office transfers the money to the bank account of the chosen organisation within three months. The costs for the bank transfer are deducted from the given sum. The tax payer cannot divide the 1 % between different organisations. One percent can only be transferred, when the tax declaration was handed in within the deadline.
